Ms. Dillard has over 15 years of legal experience in both the private and public sectors. After graduating from Florida State University College of Law in 1998, she relocated to Palm Beach County, Florida in order to clerk at the Fourth District Court of Appeal. Thereafter, she practiced commercial and general civil litigation for both a small and a large private law firm. Since joining the School District of Palm Beach County, she has addressed a wide range of issues impacting the School District’s provision of public education. Ms. Dillard balances her time between her profession, raising her four year old daughter, and various professional, community, and civic organizations.
Indeed, she is past president of the F. Malcolm Cunningham Bar Association and the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter National Bar Association; past Vice President of the West Palm Beach Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta (Diamond Life Member) and the West Palm Beach (FL) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated; and former Chair of the Palm Beach County Bar Association’s Law Related Education Committee. She currently serves on The Florida Bar’s Grievance Committee for the 15th Judicial Circuit, Division A; the Program Coordinator for the West Palm Beach (FL) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated; the Board of Directors for the Palm Beach Chapter of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; and is Vice Chair of the Florida Bar’s Education Law Committee. Her hobbies include: reading, visiting zoos and aquariums, collecting Minnie Mouse Figurines, and butterfly gardening.
